Summer Traveler is off to Costa Rica
The summer approached quickly and we were very busy planning our trip to Costa Rica. Our group this year will include my mother Toby, Victoria, Evelyn, Linda C., Linda K., and Karin. After much searching, Karin found this awesome trip to Costa Rica through Road Scholar. It covered all of the things we were discussing that were of interest.
The itinerary for this trip was to begin by visiting San Jose for the first two days. Then it is off to Tortuguero and the Sea Turtle Conservancy where hopefully we will view sea turtles nesting on the beach. Other activities included early morning and late afternoon canal safaris, river rafting, and volcano viewing. I was very excited that the plan included actually walking on the Arenal Hanging Bridges. We also planned time to sit on the beach, walk around some of the national parks, visit a coffee farm, and sit back taking in the wildlife sounds of the jungle in Costa Rica.
